Instructions
  1. Melt the butter in a skillet on medium-high heat. Add the onions and 1/4 tsp of salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Drop the heat to low-medium allowing the onions to caramelize for 30-40 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
  2. Pour onions into a bowl allowing them to cool.
  3. Add mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, and remaining salt into a medium size bowl and mix together.
  4. Stir in the cooled onions into the mixture.
  5. Refrigerate the dip for 1-2 hours to let the flavors come together and enjoy!
